There are plenty of places to go and visit and many activities in the area
Fishing is very popular around here, with course and game fishing available on private lakes and boats for hire at most of the local ports for sea fishing.
There are golf courses at Seaton, Honiton and Lyme Regis; and Beer has a riding centre, which is very popular with both children and their parents as a different way of getting around the countryside!
There are some interesting places to visit in the area too, for example, a local Medieval manor house at Shute, and some of the best-kept gardens in Devon, all within a short drive.
Our reception has information on all the above activities, and many more in the area and our website has lots of helpful links.
Jurassic Coastline and Woodland Walks
Seaton and Axmouth straddle the mouth of the river Axe. The views from Axecliff Golf Club are truly breathtaking! Here is an excellent starting point for a walk through the Undercliff to Lyme Regis. The coastal path to Beer is a little easier (about 2 miles) but just as spectacular.
The Jurassic Coast CoastlinX53 bus service stops at Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis, making transportation back to your starting point very easy.
Bluebell Woods is another lovely setting for a relaxing stroll through our rural part of Devon.
We have selected a few popular links to local opportunities for entertainment and enjoyment during your stay with us. Many of these activities are within a short distance of the Farm and represent excellent value for money. We hope you enjoy your visit and if you come across an activity that you think should be included please let us know via the feedback form.
